CIDOC warns art collectors and actors against the illegal practices of the former OPEDAACCC
It is brought to the attention of the public that the organization called "OPEDAACCC" (Office of Production, Registration and Documentation of African Arts and Making of Collector’s Card), formerly presented as an institution responsible for ensuring the Production, The African Art Documents and Collector’s Card Making Registration, is OFFICIALLY DISSOLVED for proven fraudulent practices.
Risks and Responsibilities for CollectorsOPEDAACCC falsely presented itself as an internationally sworn institution, with legal personality and semi-financial autonomy, under the supervision of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the MINFI and international organizations (ACCORD MONDIAL). These claims are totally false and unfounded.

We wish to solemnly warn all collectors, art dealers and other stakeholders who are still in contact with this dissolved organization: you are solely responsible for any financial loss or other damage resulting from transactions or exchanges with the former OPEDAACCC or one of its screen services.

OPEDAACCC had established a network of phantom or screen services, known as :

- CNRLP
- UNESCO-ICOM-CAMEROON (False representation of collaboration with UNESCO and ICOM)
- minac-camgov (Usurpation of the domain name of the Ministry of Arts and Culture of Cameroon)
- The Ministry of Arts and Culture (MINAC) : https://minac-cameroon.com
- Le BCA Afrique
- The Commission des Arts et de la Culture d'Afrique (COMAC Africa)
- Le CIDOC (Comité International pour la Documentation)
- UNESDOC (UNESCO Documentation Service)
- The ICOM Object-ID (International Standard for Identification of Cultural Property)
- ONPC (National Cultural Heritage Office)
Be extremely vigilant against any request from these entities or using these names.
Authorized Agencies in Cameroon
For any question relating to the production of documents of collection of African art in Cameroon, only the following bodies are authorized to intervene:
Any documentation from another source is not recognized and does not engage the responsibility of the competent authorities.

We strongly encourage you to consult the arts website registry to verify the legitimacy of the organizations you are contacting.
Formal prohibition
CIDOC formally prohibits all organizations and organizations in the field of African arts from any contact with the former OPEDAACCC or one of its screen services.
The production, registration of African art documents and the preparation of collector cards are no longer provided by OPEDAA-CCC, an organization that has since been defunct.
